Plenty of Tulsa shops will sell you a great cigar. Fewer will pour you a drink to go with it. These are the lounges in the Tulsa area with a walk-in or lit humidor and a full bar, sorted by the kind of evening each one does best. Every one of them has its own page with the address and phone number.
For a polished evening
The Royale Spirits and Cigars on South Sheridan is the one to pick for a date night or a client dinner that runs long. Think tufted leather and a stone fireplace, with a cocktail-forward bar. It sits right beside the Fogue & Bates Midtown shop, and the two have teamed up on events.
Tisdale's Cigar Lounge on North Greenwood Avenue pairs top-shelf whiskey with a hand-selected humidor, and it books live jazz and R&B nights. It's a short walk from Greenwood Rising and the ballpark, so it fits nicely around a game.
For a night downtown
Classic Cigars on North Boston Avenue is in the middle of the Tulsa Arts District, which makes it the easy stop before or after dinner or a show. It stays open until 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays, and there's outdoor seating when the weather cooperates.
Palomino Cigar Lounge on East 11th Street, along old Route 66, is the late-night choice from Thursday through Saturday. It has an open-air smoking patio, handcrafted cocktails, and live music on the calendar.
For the game, or a group
The Cigar Box has two locations, one in South Tulsa on 91st Street and one in Broken Arrow. It's a comfortable, approachable room with a big walk-in humidor and plenty of TVs, and it's a good pick for a beginner who wants some guidance.
Stogies Cigar House & Cocktails on Main Street in Broken Arrow's Rose District solves the mixed-group problem. The main floor is for smoking, and upstairs is completely non-smoking with its own bar, pool tables, darts, and shuffleboard. Your friends who don't smoke won't have to sit outside.
A few things to know before you go
- You'll need to be 21. Bring an ID even if you're well past it.
- Smoke the house's cigars. Lounges with a humidor expect you to buy from it. Some allow outside cigars for a fee, so ask before you light one you brought.
Hours change, especially around holidays, so check the lounge's website or social media before you make a special trip.
